Dr. Thomas Chun-Pin Tsai is now the president of Tainan Ching-Ming Eye Clinic. Dr Tsai graduated from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University(NYCU) of medicine and completed his residency training in ophthalmology and fellowship training in retina at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He was an attending physician in the department of ophthalmology in Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
Dr. Tsai has performed cataract phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation since 2004. With full of clinical experiences in the management of cataract surgery, he also has devoted himself into ophthalmic practice, teaching and training the next generation of ophthalmologist, and doing intravitreous injection medicine(Anti-VEGF) on retina disease, micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation on glaucoma patients. He is now the director of Taiwan Ophthalmology Society(TOS) and the executive director of Taiwan Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons(TSCRS). He is now the member in the cataract surgery committee of Taiwan Ophthalmology Society(TOS). In public field, he is now the consultant of Taiwan Primary Physician Association and the director of Tainan Medical Clinics Association.
